La cérémonie des Video Music Awards Japan (MTV) aura lieu le 14 juin prochain au Maihama Amphitheater dans la préfecture de Chiba.
Pour cette 13e édition, les hôtes de la soirée seront Michishige Sayumi (Morning Musume.’14), T.M.Revolution et w-inds. Les trois sont bien présents sur la scène musical japonaise et animeront la soirée avec leurs qualités respectives.
Le premier line-up d’artistes a aussi été dévoilé. On retrouvera donc Berryz Kobo, E-girls, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, and Miura Daichi. Les fans auront la possibilité de voir la soirée en streaming sur le site officiel des VMAJ et à partir de 18h00 sur MTV.
Edit du 22/04 : Un second line-up vient d’être révélé ! GLAY et Hatsune Mike viennent rejoindre la liste des participants. Il a aussi été annoncé que Funasshi, Hyadain, Rev.from DVL, Ryusei Ryo et Takei Sou apparaîtront à la cérémonie pour remettre des récompenses.
Cette année, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu qui avait remporté deux récompenses l’année dernière est nominée dans les catégories ‘Best Pop Video’, ‘Best Album of the Year’, and ‘Best Karaoke Song’. La liste complète des catégories :
